The R-4B was the first operational helicopter used by the US armed services, and saw service in the Pacific during closing days of WWII, 1943-1945. With improvements the R-4B continued in operational service until 1950. In addition to the USAAF and USN, the R-4B served with the RN.

Created using FSDS2, modifications to an original FSC file by Dave Eckert and techniques developed originally by Doug Attrell (Grumpy, aka Hagar). Textures are a combination of a repaint of an original texture by Mike Feilden (Baldy), and an original rotor texture by Doug Attrell.

This is freeware and subject to all the normal conditions.

IMPORTANT
**************
INSTALLATION REQUIRES ONLY THAT YOU PLACE THE KWCFS2_R4B_AI AND BRI_PILOT FOLDERS IN YOUR CFS2/AIRCRAFT FOLDER. THE R4B CAN BE USED IN MB AS AN AI OR AS A SCENERY OBJECT. IN MB YOU SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO SET THE SPEED BELOW 70 KNOTS, AS THE R-4B COULD STALL DURING TURNS AT LOWER SPEEDS.
